The Entry Redevelopment work to Banff Springs Hotel reconsidered the sense of arrival at one of Alberta’s most iconic landmarks. Instead of a single-note experience, the overall event becomes a layering of anticipation by creating a progression to and destination out of the main view. The upgrades were done with the utmost care to stay true to the style of the existing structure, while at the same time improving the functionality and experience provided to its visitors.
