"Recreation architecture forms an inseparable bond with its surrounding land. Be it spatial requirements or dependency on the site delivering the recreational activity itself, site and design are interlocked. Recreational design is therefore charged to fit in as an integral part of the living landscape."
Our recreation portfolio includes an extensive set of renovations for multiple heli-ski lodges, situated in British Columbia's Rocky Mountains. The extreme nature of heli-skiing demands extreme sites and all of the difficult challenges that accompany such sites. From very limited site access during construction to planning for severe climatic conditions, recreation facilities completed by BeckVale address and respond to a multitude of issues. Despite these climatic and environmental challenges, each lodge leaves a calming impression on visitors, becoming part of the breathtaking surrounding escape. Click images to view full size.
